Black Vulmea

  1. BLACK VULMEA - A black ink and color pencil drawing on a 14 x 20 illustration board. It appears in my art folio, "Fabian in Color," published by Starmont House in 1980, as Plate No.2, "Black Vulmea's Vengeance".

Most of the color drawings in the folio were originally intended to be cover art on Starmont's magazine reprint series, "Famous Pulp Classics," but the series was cancelled after the 2nd issue, so none of them were used. Ted Dikty, the owner of Starmont House decided to use the drawings to produce the "Fabian in Color" art folio. No doubt to recover the funds he paid me to do the artwork.
